1. Information We Collect

→Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data managed securely by Supabase.
→Usage Data: We collect anonymized data about how you interact with the studio (templates used, card types created, export counts) to improve the product.
→Payment Data: Subscription payments are processed via bKash. We store only your bKash Agreement ID (a reference token) — never your raw payment credentials.
→Images & Content: Photos you upload for card generation are temporarily stored on our servers only for the duration of the rendering process, then permanently deleted. We do not retain your uploaded media.

2. How We Use Your Information

→To provide and maintain the NewsCards Studio service.
→To process your subscription payments and manage your plan tier.
→To send important service emails (account verification, password reset).
→To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve features — never to profile individual users.
→To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.

3. Data Storage & Security

→Your account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
→All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
→Our servers are hosted in secure cloud infrastructure with regular backups and monitoring.
→We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

→We use browser cookies solely for authentication session management (Supabase auth tokens).
→Local Storage may be used to cache your current studio state so you can continue editing across page reloads.
→We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

→Supabase: Authentication and database. Supabase Privacy Policy applies.
→bKash: Payment processing for Bangladeshi subscribers. bKash Privacy Policy applies.
→We do not integrate Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising networks.

6. Your Rights

→Access: You can view all data associated with your account via the Dashboard.
→Deletion: You may request full account and data deletion by contacting us at [email protected].
→Export: You can export your generated photocards at any time from the Studio.
→Correction: Update your profile information at any time from the Dashboard settings.

7. Data Retention

→Account data is retained while your account is active.
→Uploaded images are deleted from our servers within 1 hour of card generation.
→Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
→Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Children's Privacy

→NewsCards Studio is intended for professional journalists and content creators aged 18 and above.
→We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

→We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users via email of any material changes.
→Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
